VIS Staff

We have 127 staff on our faculty, representing a range of nationalities including Australia, Canada, Columbia, France, Germany, Hungarian, Ireland, Italy, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Ukranian, UK and USA as well as our local Maltese staff. Most of our staff stay between 2-6 years however many staff have remained at VIS for longer. All our teachers have international experience, university degrees and teaching credentials in accordance with the Maltese Teacher’s Warrant expectations. 50% of our teaching staff have Masters qualifications.

All our staff are fluent English speakers, First Aid trained and required to have a certain standard of Technology training. All staff follow an annual cycle of performance evaluation cycle and encouraged to have a growth mindset that includes regular professional development and personal goal-setting.

As a community, we aim to provide a quality learning environment, working together collaboratively to ensure the students can each achieve their best and be their best. By making VIS a co-operative working experience we can make a positivedifference to the children in our care.
