VIS Gives
VISGives works in association with the VISFund and Scholarship to support a Refugee scholarship student each year on IBDP or CP programees.
The scholarship is aimed at an age of 15+ student, in Malta, who is legally recognised a resfugee/asylum seeker or a person who is granted a Sepecific Residence Authorisation or THP/THPN holders.
This school scholarship is intended for sixth-form, for the final two years, pre-university. The sholarship covers the fees of the two year IB Diploma programme including the examination fees, field trips for the IB Diploma and a basic laptop as a required tool for the course. If required, a prerequisite year of schooling may be recommended and funded.
The scholarship is funded by VISFund, a charity who gain the funds through Fundraising initiatives and Corporate donations.
- The applicants will need to prove their international protection status via an approved document.
- It is expected that the applicants have a high standard of academic abiliity. The International Baccalaureate (www.ibo.org) is a rigorous academic course. The intention is that this young person will receive a high quality education to proceed towards applying successfully for a university scholarship.
Applicants should complete the application form and submit to the Admissions Department via email through admissions@verdala.org before or by August 1, 2023.
