Specials

These subjects are guided by the same principles as the core subjects in that there are specific learning goals which also include knowledge, skills and understanding.  Some examples are:

• Is able to know the contributions and impacts of various artists in different countries and how their work influenced or was influenced by society. (Art)

• Understands that the work of musicians is influenced by their environment and experiences. (Music)

• Is able to make simple dramatic presentation to others. (Drama)

• Is able to use physical movement as a means of expression, enjoyment, communication and art. (PE)

• Is able to use spoken language that is appropriate to the situation and purpose. (Additional Language)
